Four chalcones derivatives have been synthesized from 3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and acetophenone derivatives (2-hydroxy acetophenone, 2,4-dihydroxy acetophenone, 2,5-dihydroxy acetophenone and 2,6-dihydroxy acetophenone).
